Probably not the smartest thing to do (liquids + computers = ?) but I'm hungry, I make darn good soup and I forgot about the fish fillets in the freezer that I'm bound to make in a few hours. Soup covered, time to blog about sad things in my life that show how bad my luck is and how poor I am.
Bad luck! And kind of about being poor.
So, last time I blogged I mentioned a ticket, and I had to take an expensive class to get rid of it, the points against my license and I had to get it done a week before the court date that I had to get an extension for. Monday marked the day it was due and the Friday before that marked the day I got paid and was able to pay for it, but unfortunately I still couldn't even take it that day. The cut-off time for the site was 6 P.M., and they needed me to print a document to sign when I don't even have a printer! So I had to e-mail it to my step dad to print and give to me after he got home around 7. The next day I had to pay ten friggin' bucks more for "same-day processing" so I could just take the class and be done, and even that wasn't enough! The chapters have 23 minute timers that MAKE me wait to take the little quiz at the end of the course (ridiculously easy, by the way) and by the time my shift started Sunday afternoon, I had to take the last quiz of the last class and take the final test! The last quiz was two questions but when I clicked on the test that I figured I'd have to wait to take because of the timer, it turned out that the quiz itself was timed and I had to complete it in an hour! Luckily I had an awesome manager that day who let me spend the first ten minutes of my test running down the last timer, taking the quiz and the test so I do believe I'm safe. :)
As you can see, I'm still poor! And because I'm poor, MCC dropped me from all my classes for not paying. I visited MCC and they said I still had my spot saved, I just needed to pay, so I set up a payment plan and was "re-enrolled" but when I checked on my classes this morning, they were still gone! My theatre class was full and I had to take a different teacher on a different time and date - Tuesday-Thursdays instead of Monday-Wednesday-Fridays, barf - with a teacher who is not on ratemyprofessor.com, which got in the way of my CPR class so now I'm taking only four gosh darn classes that look a little something like this. It's a little bit hard to see, but now I have a break M/W/F from 8:50 to 11 and on T/T from 10:15 to 11, not to mention I start an hour later on those days. I guess I'll be drinking my money away at Grounds for Thought, doing my homework right after English and looking at magazines in the library. At least I still have four days of choir. <3
Now, for some delicious things I am enamored by and think you all should try! One and two!
I'm really just trying to fill this void. :(

"Help me, I'm poor!"
- Annie, Bridesmaids
I love that movie so much! I got the poster from Wallace movies, thank you Sarah! <3 Love aside, I truly am poor. I have nine dollars in my bank account and I still have more bills to pay. </3
Paying for college sucks, don't do it. Learn from me and either get a scholarship or be a trust fund baby. Your choice. It's a good thing I decided to go on a model-vegan diet (I'll explain later) because veganism is great for poor people, rock on! Between school ($1,200), insurance ($120), my phone ($30), feeding myself for a few weeks ($30) and the stupid TICKET I got for zoning out on the road ONE TIME and running a red ($240 but I didn't pay it...) I have to take driving school ($230) which I am in the middle of now. Almost done, but it's time consuming and budget busting and tear inducing. So I'm flat out broke and have to pay my insurance for last month and this month and then my phone bill. Then I'm free! With the exception of the 5th of every month where I have to make a payment on my tuition. I'm gonna cry.
So that model-vegan diet thing I mentioned is actually really awesome. I'm not fully vegan, I just rarely eat crap or meat. I'm slightly anemic so I have to eat steak every once in a while but PB&J and some raisins get me by the rest of the time. I missed being a vegetarian and decided to go hardcore but not really as a model-vegan. :) I guess the real term for it would be flexitarian except I pretty much only eat fruits, veggies, special home-made soup and PB&J, which is less than a vegetarian. I do use spices and what not, and I still eat ramen noodles (I'm poor!) and bean and cheese burritos, yum. I avoid non-vegan things, but I do still eat them. I had Chic-fil-a the other day.
Why is everybody leaving? I had two good bye parties yesterday, one of which I could not find but still. Why is there an allure to leave little ol' me? It breaks mah heart! :( Stay home!
I'm surprised I haven't fallen over dead, yet. My bedtime lately has been averaging between midnight and 2 A.M., but I keep getting up around 9. Like today, in bed at two, alarm at 7:40, up at 8:20 for church. How am I still functioning? And I work later, so no nap for me. Speaking of church! Guess who has a keyboard and is now a Hospitality Minister at St. Benedict's?! THIS GIRL! So that means all y'all Catholics need to get your butts to church and let me greet you! :D
Alroight, mates, I'm out!

So Disappointing
As I type these words, my heart clefts in twain; The Change-Up is absolutely horrible. Whoever did the advertising is a genius and deserves millions upon millions because that show is a crapfest. I guess I should have checked Rotten Tomatoes first, because the 22% they gave it was probably generous, for once. There was so much cussing it was insane! I know I'm a conservative Catholic and my best friend is a Latter-Day Saint, but after about thirty minutes we walked out and got a refund for our money because we don't know anyone in the world who uses that many swear words, or anyone who finds it that funny. The physical humor was terrible too (MINI SPOILER ALERT, even though if you go see it you are a moron) in the commercial you see Jason Bateman taking poop in the face while changing a diaper. That's only after his son grabs the bars of his crib and repeatedly bangs his head against them (really poor CGI, by the way) and before the child shoots poop into Jason Bateman's mouth, which he has the most surprisingly calm reaction to. Does this happen every morning? It's SO BAD! And it hurts so much, I love Ryan and Jason so freaking much, I just wanted a good movie for them. </3
Heart break aside, my life has been pretty good the last few days. The Jersey Shore premiere was good! I actually intended to record my watching it and clipping together all the reactions I had but about ten minutes in I realized my sound somehow got delayed and I was already tired and didn't wanna fix it so I deleted it. :) I've been hanging out with amigos like the Megan and the Nico and the James! I'm trying to get the Ariadna tonight and the Quinn tomorrow but we'll see. :)
Well, I'm off to watch the Kardashians and talk to Megan in a Sarah Palin accent. America!

Quick update!
I've been SO BUSY lately! Literally every moment I'm awake I'm either working, babysitting, sleeping, resting or actually having a little bit of a social life. :( Sorry it's been so long, I hate that!
Some things going through my mind:
- You may remember in a previous blog me mentioning my love for Ryan Reynolds and then repressing my urge to share the same notion about Jason Bateman? Well tomorrow a little movie called The Change-Up with both of them in it comes out, and I shall be drooling over that silver screen aaallllll night long.
- Jersey Shore premiere is TONIGHT and I most certainly will be tuning in. :)
- I have done practically nothing socially this week and that makes me sad. Hopefully you all will make next week better. :)
- My bed is FINALLY getting moved over after a two week delay. Now I can lock my moms cat out of my room so she stops eating all of Dutchess' food and goes back to being a recluse.
I'll be back, in the mean time I leave you with this:
