But there will be no kissing because I hate the ALEKS. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, the ALEKS is essentially the placement test for new college kids, which I have to take again once my movie (A Guy Thing) is over. Alright, that's a lie, I just have to take the Reading portion again and technically I don't HAVE to. I'm two points away from testing out of reading classes altogether, so I was advised to go back and test again to see if I can score better and avoid taking the class which would be AWESOME! I have to drive all the way out to school to retake it, though because I'm starting at a CC and not a University, where you get to take it online. Oh, well. Let's hope I can get one more question right than the last time!
It feels weird blogging right now, I wanted to blog sooner but I've been working every day since I created this thing and the impending, looming thought that I had to go to work soon made blogging impossible. So I keep getting that feeling and then remember this is the first and only day I have off until the day before I leave which I requested off so I'd have time to pack. And where am I leaving to, you ask? I-O-WA! Ahhhh, yes! Alright, so if you've even glanced at anything else in this blog, you probably weren't asking where I was leaving to, but saying - heck, even just typing the word Iowa gives me a little jolt because I am so freaking excited! Iowa. Iowa. Iowa. Iowa!
Ugh, speaking of packing, I need to do my laundry. No! :(
I had a thought on what to make this next paragraph but somewhere between stretching and this movie I forgot what it was. Oh, well. I really love Julia Stiles, I've been watching a lot of movies that she's in lately and I miss her being in so many of them! She's so underrated, it's depressing. And my cat looks really cute right now, she's sprawled out under the coffee table sleeping. Even though we just woke up a little while ago.
Does anyone else have like a thousand remotes for their television? My movie just ended and to turn off the DVD player (note: it's not a Blueray player. Because Bluerays are stupid) took one remote, to change my television from "DVD" mode to "T.V." mode took another remote and to turn on my cable and click to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air took a third. I'm not linking anything to the Fresh Prince because if you don't know what that show is, you need to stop looking at this blog. Now. You're not welcome here.
I spent $65 dollars on make up the other day! And only bought two things! I'm falling in love with Smashbox make up, which is a problem of my own making but their products are sooo good! I bought their new mascara because it makes my eyelashes look 348957 miles long and it's awesome and I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it (for a cheaper alternative, use this). I also bought their primer because I don't wanna get premature wrinkles! And everyone laughs at me when I say that but I'm serious! My skin is great now and I would like to keep it that way for as long as I can. There's no way to get rid of wrinkles once you have them! Naturally, anyway. I'm sorry for all the guys who just read that, but if you stuck with it and got this far, I love you! :)
Well, I should be getting to school and taking that darn test... after this episode of the Fresh Prince is over. :)
Love, Desi!
Don't feel bad, even I have to take placement tests as a sophomore. :/ I have a remote that looks like a mini TV so I feel your pain! Also, I am 12 and what is the Fresh Prince?
